This video from our colleagues in Durham helps to demonstrate the rigour and importance of the role of a police officer.

Policing is a job like no other, where no two days are the same and one in which you will be challenged every day. You will be the first face victims see when they have called for help, will on occasions face hostility and will stand in harm’s way to protect others.

But during every shift you will know you have helped to protect people and made a real difference.

It is a challenging and demanding role but securing justice for victims of crime, protecting people from harm and supporting those who need us the most is a humbling and rewarding experience.

Positive Action Recruitment Support
