PSI recruitment is open

Our Police Staff Investigators work across the organisation in a variety of departments within the Crime and Criminal Justice Division and Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

You will act as the case officer for a variety of lower-level offences, including criminal damage, theft and assaults.

No two days are the same for those working within our investigations teams, the role is vast and the opportunities to investigate are endless.

You will provide active professional support for the investigation of crime and be expected to cover all aspects of the investigations process. From interviewing detainees, victims and witnesses and searching vehicles and property to preparing case files for court and attending the court room to give evidence – this is a job like no other.

You will have the opportunity to put your interpersonal and communication skills to the test and be part of our relentless pursuit of criminality by being tough on crime, keeping people safe and putting victims and witnesses first.

Receiving applications until 21 April 2025.
