Here Detective Inspector Praveen Naidoo, of Devon & Cornwall Police, speaks about his experiences of joining the police service in the 1990s and says the force is "unrecognisable" to the organisation he joined 30 years ago.
He says the force has changed "massively and positively" to become a place he is proud to work.
